AZIMART was born from a simple observation: Kenyan farmers, despite producing some of the world's best agricultural products, were not getting fair prices for their hard work. Middlemen and inefficient supply chains were taking the lion's share of profits.
Our founder, Sarah Wanjiku, experienced this firsthand while working with smallholder farmers in rural Kenya. She saw how technology could bridge the gap between farmers and consumers, creating direct relationships that benefit everyone involved.
Launched in 2023, AZIMART started as a small platform connecting 50 farmers with local consumers. Today, we're proud to serve thousands of farmers across Kenya, helping them reach customers they never could have accessed before.
